The Prevention of Money-laundering (Maintenance of Records) Seventh
This is further to our Circular ref: IRDAI/SDD/MISC/CIR/248/11/2017 dated 8th November, 2017 with regard to the Prevention of Money-laundering (Maintenance of Records) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2017.
The Central Government has notified the PML (Maintenance of Record) (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2017 on 12.12.2017 and has issued Gazette Notification on 13.12.2017. Accordingly, the date of submission of the Aadhaar Number and Permanent Account Number or Form 60 by the clients to the reporting entity is 31st March, 2018 or six months from the date of commencement of account based relationship.
